My brother Jimmy now resides in Mendoza, Argentina after spending ten years in Buenos Aires.
Linzi had a week here before she had to return to the UK but I stayed nearly a month.

Plaza Espana, Mendoza. Plaza Pellegrini, Mendoza. Very near Jimmy's apartment. Very popular at night with Tango dancers. Paseo Sarmiento: full of cafes 
and a great place to do 
some people watching.

way to Chile.

Cristo Redentor is a famous monument on the Argentina & Chile border erected after settlement of a territorial dispute in 1902. The hairpin road up to the ridge is only open a few month each 
year and is closed after the 
first snow fall of the season.
Puente del Inca is a natural stone bridge over the Rio Mendoza, 2720 metres above sea level. The ruins of a thermal hotel can be seen.
