Queenstown Adventure

Back Up Next

Queenstown is called the "Adventure Capital of the Word" and rightly so. We went
White Water Rafting with Extreme Green Rafting, cheated death with Shotover Jet
and Linzi and I both DID the Kawarau Bridge Bungy. This Original Bungy site is 43 metres
over the Shotover River and it was the longest few seconds of my life.

White Water Rafting on the Shotover River ... tremendous. I fell in!

Smiling before the trip
down the river.
If you look carefully you can see
that Linzi and I are still smiling!
The boats only need 10cm
of water to get by.

Fly by Wire .... better than Bungy, you're the pilot. Six minutes of exhilarating adrenaline rush. Maximum height is 30 storeys .... maximum speed is over 106 mph. www.flybywire.co.nz

Milford Sound is in the Fiordland National Park in the extreme south west corner. We recommend Mitre Peak cruises ... smaller than the
huge cruise ferries.

Milford Sound is the most northern
of Fiordland's fifteen fiords, with vertical sides towering 1200m
above sea level.
Nugget Point is south of Dunedin
in the Catlins Forest Park. we spent half an hour just watching seals here.
